Root, so you can sprout with a clear mind and healthy heart when the warmth of the sun returns. Watercolor painting to music and planting seeds (vegetable and/or flowers) to take home, you will leave with a reminder of inner and out color and new growth. We will end with a grounding and rooting postures and Shavasana.

Holding Space To Find Your Movement Medicine

4:00 PM16:00

Holding Space To Find Your Movement Medicine

This class is about holding space for your body, your spirit and your healing. While Jodi Schwartz-Levy will be holding space with guidance, music, intention, safety, and the like, the idea of holding space is meant for you to internalize, so you can hold healing space for yourself. Our society has taught us to put a lot of emphasis on the cognitive mind, so the purpose of this gathering is to learn how to listen and respond to the many other parts of ourselves: the dreamer, the spirit, the body, the creative process.

Holding Space is about creating a nurturing relationship to the self by the practice of listening, nurturing and tending to yourself.
You are welcome to bring your own yoga mat if you choose to have padding. The floor is also delicious to play on and we have plenty of mats, blankets and bolsters.

Also bring a journal to help you reflect and remember your process.

Cost:  $25

Holding Space: A Movement Exploration

Led by somatic psychologist, Jodi Schwartz-Levy.
$25 SOLD OUT

Join me once/monthly on Sunday evenings to practice mindfulness meditation in a supportive, group environment and to experience the benefits of group practice.  Monthly sessions will include guided practice and specific topics for discussion and personal exploration and experimentation with bringing mindfulness into unique life circumstances.

Monthly Restorative Yoga

Our lives can be filled with busy-ness as we move from one commitment to the next without taking time to rest, pause, take stock. This workshop is an opportunity to come together in a quiet, supportive space and to fully relax. After a brief check-in, we will move through a slow gentle sequence using movement and breath to find release. This practice will help each participant connect more fully with their inner rhythm, innate vitality, and quiet joy.  Held monthly on 3rd Sundays.  Read More

Divine Sleep Yoga Nidra

Divine Sleep Yoga Nidra with Michelle Stortz is a guided meditation that systematically leads you into a deep state of relaxation through breath awareness, body scanning and imagery (the 5 koshas). This state 'turns on' the relaxation response, which is the body's natural healing state. There is nothing for you to do, but to get comfortable and listen. Held monthly on the second Sunday of the month.

Cost: $20, Click Here to Register: For more info call: 215-242-1366
