Together we experience yoga as a grounding physical practice for standing strong and steady in the world. The theme for our weekly classes this fall will be an exploration of the major joints of the body: knees, hips, shoulders, neck, ankles, wrists, and of course, the spine.

The mat-based class (Saturdays 9:15 – 10:30 am) is a deeply energizing and joyful practice aligning movement and breath for anyone wanting to move with more fluidity and awareness.

Cost:   $125 for the 8-week session ($20 drop-in). Read More

Holding Space: A Movement Exploration

This class is about holding space for your body, your spirit and your healing. While Jodi Schwartz-Levy will be holding space with guidance, music, intention, safety, and the like, the idea of holding space is meant for you to internalize, so you can hold healing space for yourself. Our society has taught us to put a lot of emphasis on the cognitive mind, so the purpose of this gathering is to learn how to listen and respond to the many other parts of ourselves: the dreamer, the spirit, the body, the creative process.

Holding Space is about creating a nurturing relationship to the self by the practice of listening, nurturing and tending to yourself.
You are welcome to bring your own yoga mat if you choose to have padding. The floor is also delicious to play on and we have plenty of mats, blankets and bolsters.
Also bring a journal to help you reflect and remember your process.

Led by somatic psychologist, Jodi Schwartz-Levy.

The second class will be on 10/10/17 6-7:30pm.
One workshop is $25 or 2 for $40.

Moon and Thunder Monthly Mother and Daughter Events!

Mothers connect with daughters (between the ages of 8-14-years-old) during Moon and Thunder's monthly gatherings. Feed the spirit, connect by heart, and care for the body and mind.

Following our Mother and Daughter Open House, a Mother writes - "I just wanted to thank you. Today was a gift. We've been struggling to have positive interactions and today was the sweetest for us. It was really special." - H. E.

Sunday, October 29 - 5:00-6:30 Autumn, Our Light in the Dark
Seasons help guide us. As daylight tapers, darkness allows for an opportunity to draw inward. We find ways to warm ourselves with comfy clothing and food. Come and learn to kindle and sustain your inner glow. Mothers and daughters take part in peaceful, guided meditation, craft a glass lantern, sip warm cider and enjoy cider donuts from Solebury Orchards.

Single events are $35 + $10 supplies fee. The total for mother and daughter is $45. More than one child, + $12. These are limited space events. You must register. Payment is due at time of registration, or up to 2 weeks prior to event date. Cancellation up to one-week prior, you may use the fee towards a future event.

Using Imagery to Enhance Rest & Work: Weaver's Way FREE Workshop

Using Imagery to Enhance Rest & Work: Weaver's Way FREE Workshop

A lesser known fact, borrowed from dancers and elite athletes, is how we can enhance performance of any task by engaging an imaginal component to whatever action we are doing.  In this workshop we will learn about different types of imagery, their uses, and identify which sensory modalities are most prominent in our imaginal realm.  We will then practice the Constructive Rest Position as originally detailed with the imagery of dance choreographer, Lulu Sweigard, to foster a deep state of relaxation.

When we give our bodies a chance to return to their natural posture and our minds a chance to unwind (especially during the busy Holiday season), we can restore moments of stillness.  Done on your own, this nourishing practice offers a gateway into any activity requiring special attention, or is perhaps confounding your best attempts at a solution. While there are many ways to experience stillness, the use of creative imagery is an amazing tool for integrating cranial intelligence with intuitive wisdom. All sorts of possibilities come alive when we are cleared to learn and work in top form.

Shonishin: Not-Quite-Acupuncture for Children

Traditionally used in Japan for well child visits from birth through the age of 7,
Shonishin, literally means "little children needle.” It is a non-needle acupuncture
technique used for children of all ages. Small metal tools are used to gently tap and rub
along the points and pathways. Children receive monthly Shonishin treatments to
strengthen the immune system, prevent illness, and to address specific ailments. Children
who are able to play quietly and enjoy the workshop beside their caregiver are welcome
to attend.

Margaret Kinnevy, RN, LAc, and Rachel Kriger, LAc are board certified acupuncturists
who will explain why Japanese parents use Shonishin, and demonstrate meridian massage
techniques to use on your child. Price: $10/family. Payment reserves seats for you and
your family, and allows us to notify you of any changes in the event. Please RSVP to

Beyond Fear

We’re at a critical moment on our planet, one that may seem more terrifying with every passing day and with each new status update. What most of us don’t realize is that we have a conscious choice to either be part of the problem by engaging in the fear or to shift our perspective and embrace what’s happening. We can actually use it as an opportunity to bring about massive positive change. This isn’t about tuning out, but about tuning into a tapestry of higher perception that will open us to a new way of seeing and engaging with the world.

Friday, October 13th - Saturday, October 14th, 2017

Friday: 6:30-9:30: Ritual offering to honor Mother Earth, the mountains and stars.

Saturday: 12-6pm: We'll explore practices that will help us walk the path of balance and beauty.

Scent of Hope: Using the power of scent to craft a healing space for your clients (and you)

This isn’t your typical aromatherapy class. Yes, you’ll definitely learn the essentials about essential oils. That’s our solid ground. Once you have a foundation, then you will be opening a relationship - an ongoing conversation - with essential oil plant allies who have as much interest in seeing you succeed as you do.

This workshop is a space for healing arts practitioners who choose to live the compassionate balance of offering clients deeper support while taking good care of themselves, and being in olfactory bliss while they’re doing it. Previous experience with essential oils is helpful but not necessary. Keep in mind we will be working with essential oils. If you are very sensitive to strong scents, this isn’t the class for you.
