Stress is held in our bodies as a physiological response. We feel it through muscular tension, shortness of breath, increased heart rate, hyper-arousal of the nervous system and emotional overwhelm. Our body doesn't know the difference between if we are in true danger or simply meeting a deadline. Oddly enough, animals know how to reset their nervous systems through movement, whereas our thinking minds often get in the way of this basic self care. This workshop will teach you how to listen to yours body's messaging service as a critical resource for combatting stress.
