The chair-to-mat class (Fridays 10-11:15 am) is great for anyone seeking safe stretches, release in the joints, and strength in the bones. We start by warming up the body seated on the chair, and then move through a carefully structured sequence of standing, balance, and mat-based postures. This gentle class also supports those recovering from surgery or illness.
Each class features a heart-opening practice including meditation, mindful movement, balance, breath awareness, and deep relaxation. You will:

Esther Wyss-Flamm, PhD, EdM, E-RYT connects individuals and groups with their innate strength, power, and joy. She is a Kripalu-certified yoga teacher with specific training in yoga for chronic health conditions. For the past 10 years, Esther has been teaching privately and in group settings in Philadelphia.
