Are you looking for a weekend class that builds strength, energy, and resilience? This mat-based class (Saturdays 9:15-10:30 am) is an intelligent, energizing and joyful practice aligning movement and breath – a perfect lead-in for the weekend! Together we experience yoga as a grounding physical practice for standing strong and steady in the world.

Each class features a heart-opening practice including meditation, mindful movement, balance, breath awareness, and deep relaxation. Throughout, we build strength and steadiness through movements that:

  • tone and strengthen the body
  • support balance
  • improve posture and flexibility
  • free up joints, breath and energy
  • release stuck emotions and bring more clarity to the mind
  • open the heart to engage courageously with the world around us!

Esther Wyss-Flamm, PhD, EdM, E-RYT connects individuals and groups with their innate strength, power, and joy. She is a Kripalu-certified yoga teacher with specific training in yoga for chronic health conditions. For the past 10 years, Esther has been teaching privately and in group settings in Philadelphia. Note: Please wear comfortable clothes and come with a water bottle and yoga mat, if you have one. Some mats, blocks and straps are on hand at the studio.
