Get ready for Friday morning yoga at the Healing Arts Studio! Esther Wyss-Flamm is kicking off the fall with classes beginning in September.
Stepping into middle age and beyond is a time to welcome wisdom, joy, and abundance into our lives. Yet for many of us, aging creates uncertainty and even fear. Are you ready to ease into a yoga practice that supports healing of the whole self?
Mat-based gentle yoga class (8:30 – 9:45 am)
A slow, yet deeply energizing and joyful practice that aligns movement and breath, perfect lead-in for the weekend.
Chair-to-mat gentle yoga class (10:00 – 11:15 am)
Great for anyone with health concerns seeking safe stretches, release in the joints and strength in the bones.
Each 75-minute class features a theme and sequence appropriate for the group, time for centering, mindful movement through postures, breath awareness, and relaxation. Specifically, during our eight weeks together, we will:
• Increase strength and balance
• Improve posture and flexibility
• Learn movements that nourish the body & relax the mind
• Experience the power and compassion of community
What to bring: Please come with your own mat and water bottle. Chairs and lots of extra goodies to support you are available at the studio.
Esther Wyss-Flamm, PhD, EdM, E-RYT connects individuals, work teams, and groups with their innate strength, power, and joy. She is a Kripalu-certified yoga teacher with specific training in yoga for chronic health conditions.
Esther teaches privately and in group settings in Philadelphia, including the Wharton School, Moss Rehab, Springboard Studio, and the Penn Nursing L.I.F.E. program.
