2nd Sunday of the every month September 2018 - June 2019
This monthly offering is an opportunity for everyone interested in (re)claiming ownership of their body. Trauma-Sensitive Yoga (TSY) holds a special place in Carly's heart as both teacher and practitioner. The class will focus on slowly bringing awareness to our physical and emotional selves through gentle movement and simple breath practices. These yogic techniques have been shown to reduce anxiety, stress, and disconnection, and cultivate a sense of grounding, calm, and community. This class is open for students of all yoga levels. Modifications will be offered throughout each class so that every participant can decide what feels most appropriate for him or her.
It is encouraged that students wear comfortable clothing, bring a yoga mat and water bottle.
