Explore using movement, touch, breath, sound and posture as medicine. This self-treatment and movement session blends the principles of John F. Barnes' Myofascial Release Approach qigong, functional strengthening, pilates and yin yoga. Connect mind, body, awareness and breath using foam rollers, balls, yoga props and various self myofascial release tools therapeutically. Self-treat myofascial restrictions, imbalances, tension and pain naturally. Reclaim awareness, posture, balance, mobility/stability, strength and mindfulness.
You will feel like you've had bodywork and a workout. All are welcome.
